You MUST:
- Have an up-beat, dynamic, child-friendly personality and a desire to make learning fun ! Mad Science is the world's leading provider of spectacular hands-on science programs for children.
We're currently looking for energetic individuals to conduct our exciting science programs throughout the northern and western suburbs of Chicago.
Experience with kids in a classroom or camp setting is preferred, however we will train the right individual.
Positions are available for candidates who:
Are outgoing and have a fun personality Have your own car Are responsible and reliable You must be available at least 2 days per week between the hours of 2:
30-5:
30pm.
We are now taking applications for responsible, dependable individuals to teach after school science enrichment programs at elementary schools for the school year.
Instructors are needed to teach hands-on science classes in the northern and western suburbs of Chicago.
We will do our best to schedule you in the general area in which you live.
We provide you with curriculum, training, a Mad Science labcoat, and all equipment.
Hours range from 2:
30pm to 5:
30 pm start time and go for one hour, not including driving and set up /cleanup time.
You must be available each week at the same time for five to eight weeks.
Our programs are inquiry based, interactive, hands-on and fun! Candidates should enjoy working with children, have a reliable car and be willing to travel.
You must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Pay ranges from $30 - $45 per class.
