A property management firm in Illinois is looking to add a new Accountant, with previous Real Estate experience, to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Accountant will:
Prepare property financial statements for large, Class-A, multi-family properties and developmentsHandle the monthly maintenance of work-papersCommunicate with property and construction management team members on a regular basis to keep records accurate and currentAssist with accounts payableAssist with monthly inter-company billbacksPerform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:

years of Accounting experience with a Real Estate backgroundAssociate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in AccountingThorough understanding of General LedgersExperience with Yardi or similar accounting softwareMicrosoft Excel proficientSolid analytical and mathematical skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized Recommended Skills Accounting Software Accounts Payable Analytical Attention To Detail Communication Construction Management Apply to this job. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
